Music In Hospitals (Scotland)

Music in Hospitals is a registered charity which operates throughout the United Kingdom. Its aim is to enable people of all ages in hospitals, hospices, care homes and day care centres to enjoy the therapeutic benefit of high quality live music performed by talented professional musicians, specially selected at audition for their ability to communicate with sensitivity.

4,967 concerts were provided nationally during 2008-9. Of these 1,661 took place in Scotland.
